JHL7440 High-end Main Control Chip

Jorkar SSD Enclosure adopts dual-chip master control, equipped with USB4.0 Type-C interface, compatible with Thunderbolt 4/3, USB4.0/3.1/3.0 interface, and supports M1 Pro/Max Mac devices and iPad Pro. Offers the best of both worlds high-speed storage for Thunderbolt and USB devices.

Compatible with NVMe 2280 SSD M key

The SSD Enclosure is specially designed for M Key & B+M Key PCIe NVMe SSD up to 8TB capacity. The applicable M.2 SSD size is 2280.

Not compatible with SATA SSD, mSATA, or PCIe AHCI SSDs, only for NVMe M.2 SSD.

The recommended SSDs for Mac devices are the 980PRO and SN850 based on the speed and temperature control of the SSD.

However, if the USB4 enclosure is used on a Windows PC, Sam series SSDs are not recommended, and the writing speed is relatively slow.

The recommended NVMe SSD is the WD Black SN850 for better performance.

Jorkar 40Gbps NVMe enclosure With USB4 Type-C output interface, it supports the maximum transmission speed up to 40Gbps. Speed test with Sam 980 EVO Plus on Macbook Pro, Read / Write speed reaches up to 2800MB/s, 2500MB/s.

Important, the speed is different in different SSD/Computer/USB type.

The maximum transfer speed of 40Gbps can only be achieved by accessing the host port of Thunderbolt 4 or USB4, please make sure that the Type-C port of your computer motherboard or laptop supports this protocol. Important! Of the 40Gbps bandwidth of Thunderbolt 3, only 22Gbps is used for data transmission and 18Gbps is reserved for DP signal. So the actual theoretical fastest transfer speed of Thunderbolt 3 is 22Gbps.

Tool Free Installation

Plug and play. No driver needed. Just open the Enclosure cover, put your SSD gently in, then cover it and connect cable to start work.

Note, The new SSD must be formatted before it can be used.

For iOS, Go to the top left of the macbook, Utilities, Disk Tools, Select the hard disk, Click Erase, Change the format to FAT32/APFS, and do not select exFAT.

For Windows, Start, Disk Management, Create and format the hard disk partition, Right click on the lower left corner (not initialized) to initialize (format), Right click on the lower left corner (not allocated) to create a new simple volume (partition). Change the format to FAT32/APFS, and do not select exFAT. When a new volume appears, it can be used normally.
